Kat has been creating as long as she can remember. Painting shells and selling them on the boardwalk of Fire Island at age 7, she understood early in life that people enjoyed purchasing handmade items and a spark was lit within her. Later on, Kat discovered how therapeutic the act of creating could be, and set out to help others discover their own hidden creativity. Kat has worked with a great number of mediums, but has primarily focused on leather, paper, alcohol ink and resin over the last few years. She thrives in teaching classes, and believes that everyone has a creative side, they just sometimes need a little lift to help them on their way.
